Product Functions
1. Dual-Sensing Thermal & Overcurrent Protection: Uniquely senses both high internal transformer oil temperature (above 140°C) and excessive continuous overload currents, effectively protecting the transformer from thermal runaway and winding damage.
2. Two-Fuse System Protection Scheme: Specifically engineered to operate in series with an Eaton Cooper ELSP backup current-limiting fuse. The Bay-O-Net link handles low-current fault and overload clearing, while the backup fuse isolates high-current faults.
3. Advanced Secondary Fault Clearing: Highly effective at sensing and isolating distant secondary low-voltage faults or internal winding overloads before catastrophic tank pressure develops.

1. Track-Free Teflon® Bore: Features a high-integrity inner Teflon® tube that eliminates carbon tracking inside the cartridge, allowing it to withstand full network voltage after fuse blowout.
2. Dual Response Mechanism: Responds to both electrical current levels and ambient transformer oil temperature, protecting single-phase conventional/self-protected units (up to 500 kVA) and three-phase units (up to 1500 kVA).
3. Tool-Free Hotstick Servicing: Simplifies field maintenance. Operators can safely withdraw the entire fuse cartridge holder from non-pressurized apparatus and swap the link using a standard hotstick.
4. Robust Interrupting Capacity: Provides exceptional single-phase interrupting ratings up to 3,500A rms symmetrical at 8.3kV and 15.5kV, and up to 1,000A rms symmetrical at 23.0kV under transformer fluid environments.
